A few interesting notes from the city:
-They are thinking about closing lower Main Street over Sundance to all cars. I think this would be a great idea, and it would still allow taxis and shuttles on upper Main St to move festival-goers around.
-The city is also thinking about re-configuring the round-a-bout at Deer Valley Dr…..maybe they should just teach people how to use it!
Over the weekend we saw 12 properties come on the market, 9 go under contract, and 4 close escrow. The high notes are:
ACTIVE:
-Park Meadows home at $4.9m; 9bd/10ba, 22172 sq ft, $221psf…there is some value to be had here!
-Promontory lot in Deer Crossing at $1.345m…good activity in Promontory!
PENDING:
-Condo in Old Town Park City at $515,000; 3bd/3ba, 1500 sq ft, $343psf.
-Silver Star condo at $3.29m; 5bd/6bam 3690psf, $891psf….this is surprising and shows just how much people love this project and also that there is some strength in this market! Good news!
-Promontory home at $3.5m; 6bd/6ba, 10007 sq ft, $350psf….a distressed property, but any activity in Promontory is good!
-Another Promontory home at $2.295m; 4bd/5ba, 4500sq ft, $510psf….more activity and in the ppsf range that hits the nail on the head! Nice weekend at Promontory for home sales!!!
CLOSED:
-Iron Canyon home in Thaynes Canyon for $2.433m; 6bd/7ba, 5526 sq ft, $440psf….the buyer got a deal on this great house!
