Looks like we will be getting a new watering hole in Park City, and for all of those in the Thaynes Canyon/Park City Mountain Resort area it is right around the corner. The planning commission approved the slope-side development, Silver Star, to put in a private club. The successful mixed-use development which houses Sundance’s Utah headquarters, as well as numerous residential units, will now be home to Park City’s newest bar called The Shaft….named after the Spiro Mine shaft on the property. Word on the street is the bar will have a glass wall and lights that look back into the shaft….these developer’s did a fabulous job on this project thus far, so I am guessing this place will turn out A+ too!
